Like 0 Retweet 0Writer-director Jared Hess has left UTA and signed with WME.
The move comes after Hess’ last movie, the indie comedy “Gentlemen Broncos,” failed at the box office when it was released in the fall by Fox Searchlight.
Hess grabbed Hollywood’s attention in 2004 with “Napoleon Dynamite.” Two years later he followed it with his first studio feature, the Jack Black Mexican wrestling comedy “Nacho Libre,” which Paramount released to $80.2 million domestic.
“Broncos” was panned by critics and mustered only $113,000 at the box office.
